Google Nexus One Launched in the UK in April 2010

Google Nexus OneGoogle Nexus One, the first mobile phone with the Google brand, will begin to be released in the UK in April 2010, along with Vodafone. Vodafone launched what is dubbed the world’s cheapest mobile phone (only $15) at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Vodafone 150 handset which is aimed at developing countries reports an article over on silicon republic. This is a basic but useful handset, with a 1.0″ 96 x 64 pixel monochrome display, dual-band GSM, polyphonic ringtones, an alarm clock, currency converter, 2 embedded games and a built-in torch.

The Vodafone 150 provides its customer with a great voice as well as sms services. It also offers support for mobile payment services. The gadget will initially be offered in India, Turkey and 8 African countries which will include Ghana, Kenya and Lesotho.
